A successful year for FUEL is rounded off with meetings at SAP

Coming off the back of another successful year, FUEL spent Thursday and Friday last week at the SAP (UK) offices and the “SAP Experience Centre” at Feltham in London.

Paul Trouton – CEO of FUEL, Trevor Bingham – Business Development Manager at FUEL and Colin Turkington – Double BTCC Champion for WSR and FUEL Brand Ambassador, spent the majority of the two days discussing business strategy for the UK with senior SAP members of staff. The SAP Business One members of staff included Jamie Stewart – Head of SAP Business One for EMEA Northern Europe, Matt Sinclair – Head of UK and Ireland, and Penny Abrams – Channel Sales Manager and Hannah Carter – Marketing Manager for UK and Ireland at SAP Business One.

On Thursday, following Lunch at the company’s five star restaurant, the FUEL team went about setting multiple new lap records round the 1.64 mile Silverstone Race Circuit on the SAP McLaren F1 simulator at the SAP Experience Centre.

The remainder of the afternoon was spent at the nearby home of Team BMW /WSR at Sunbury-on-Thames. Founder of West Surry Racing (WSR), Team Principle and Managing Director of Team BMW/WSR – Dick Bennetts (Colin’s Team Boss) with David Eggleton – Commercial Director, took time out of their busy schedule, and preparation for the next series of championship races at Croft Race Circuit in North Yorkshire, to show our SAP hosts from the morning, round the offices and workshop of their incredibly successful operation.

It was very easy to see why WSR are so successful, due to the focus of the team, and Dick’s microscopic attention to detail, when it comes to managing the team.
In the coming weeks, FUEL hope to make further exciting business announcements, as we continue to grow the company and build on our strategic business plans.
