Mckenna wanted a Sage 50 accounts solution that would not only run their back-end systems but would aid their billing and year-end accounting processes. Running on an older IT platform that was overdue an infrastructure refresh, the functionality of the original Sage 50 solution was being curtailed by the slow performing server.

FUEL’s hardware team replaced the ageing IT platform with a high-performance small business IBM server. Following the upgrade, FUEL added a managed service programme so that the McKenna Precision Engineering staff and management could engage the Sage software with FUEL’s Sage expertise and knowledge. This level of support had been lacking previously from McKenna’s ‘Sage Business Partner’ and as a result Mckenna’s efficiency, time and profit have increased dramatically.
