Clonleigh Co-Operative Society of Co Donegal, is the largest independent farm and hardware supplies business in the north west of Ireland. Business man Gareth Patterson, after a number of successful years spent in the London financial sector, returned home to spearhead the company’s future growth.
The company continues to grow its business from €3 million turnover, when Gareth took over the running of the business, to €25 million today. Having used Pegasus Opera for many years, Clonleigh now needed an ERP solution that would not only manage the current level of business, but with smart reporting and excellent Business Intelligence / Analysis, it would handle future business growth.
#02KEY BUSINESS BENEFITS
With the company clearly in a constant state of growth, it was important not to tie-up key resources in terms of staff with periodic, mundane and non-efficient tasks. With the new SAP Business One ERP solution, management personnel are now free to help drive the company’s growth further and become much more efficient and profitable with their time. Following the implementation of SAP Business One and the better utilisation of its key managerial staff has in turn increased the level of achievement and self-worth.
From an early stage, SAP Business One was always Clonleigh’s preferred solution for taking the business forward. Following some pre-sales consultations with our SAP Business One consultants, Gareth Patterson was delighted to engage FUEL in fully implementing an SAP Business One Solution for his Farm Supplies business, including full barcoded point of sale trade counter. FUEL provided a full implementation plan that included an in-depth training schedule for staff members throughout the company’s two sites. This covered all the relevant departments from back office and management to trade counter and grain stores.
FUEL Successfully designed & Implemented a complex SAP Business One solution, I would have no hesitation in recommending them.
