FUEL Partners with Aspire NI to Tackle Educational Inequality in Northern Ireland

We are proud to announce a new partnership with Aspire NI, a Northern Ireland-based charity dedicated to closing the educational attainment gap that exists between rich and poor. The Educational Attainment Gap, is the gap that exists between rich and poor. If you are born in the UK, into a low-income family, you are less likely to achieve in school.

This collaboration reflects a shared commitment to addressing educational inequality for young people from low-income backgrounds, helping them succeed in school and beyond.

“Aspire NI’s mission aligns closely with our values, and we’re excited to support their incredible work, from mentoring programmes to after-school support for students who need it most.”  Paul Trouton, CEO – FUEL

Aspire NI currently partners with schools across Northern Ireland, offering tutoring, mentoring, and career guidance to help them achieve their potential regardless of socio-economic background. The partnership with FUEL will include financial backing, volunteer support, and strategic collaboration to help the charity scale its services.

This partnership marks a significant step in community-led social impact, showcasing the power of collaboration between the business and charity sectors. Both organisations are committed to building a brighter future for the next generation—one where every child, regardless of background, has the chance to thrive.
