Set-up in 1977, the locally owned and based Ashdale Engineering Limited is an autonomous specialised electrical engineering company with a worldwide reputation. Essentially they are a one-stop-shop and where they assist and support their customers in their choice and supply of automation and control hardware. With equipment commissioning, service installations and creating their own software, managed by their 24X7 support helpdesk, Ashdale have a dedicated customer base and growing order book.
Ashdale had been running on ageing IBM servers that were well past their expected life expectancy. The problem with ageing and disparate systems and software is they often become expensive on not only time but also money.
